The transfer window is now closed, and Saido Berahino remains a West Bromwich Albion player.
When Berahino did not get his move on deadline day in September, Berahino reacted badly, venting his anger at club chairman Jeremy Peace on Twitter, threatening to go on strike.
There was no repeat this time around, but he did take to the social media site, to emphasise that he would not be making the same error.
Everyone waiting once again for the silly little spoilt boy to make same mistake so here you go.— Saido Berahino (@SBerahino) February 1, 2016
Goodnight all and thanks for the support
His message shows that at least to some degree he understands he made a mistake last time, where he alienated most of the West Brom support.
He is still battling for a spot in the first team, but did himself a favour at the weekend with a brace in the FA Cup, and could feature in the Premier League this evening at home to Swansea City.
If the responses to his message from fans are anything to go by, he can look forward to a positive reception. Here is a look at what Baggies fans had to say back to Berahino...
@SBerahino what you doing up this late, you should be in bed resting for tomorrow! Tony will be mad!!!!— Danny (@batesywba) February 1, 2016
