HITC Sport understands the Swansea defender is set for a loan move.
Swansea City defender Daniel Alfei is poised to join League Two Mansfield Town on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Alfei is well down the pecking order at Swansea and a number of clubs have expressed an interest in the right-back.
Alfei is now set to go out on loan again with Swansea keen for the full-back to be playing first-team football to continue his development.
The Wales Under-21 international has spent the last few seasons out on loan, playing 15 times while on loan at Portsmouth in the 2013/14 season and then 14 appearances at Northampton last season.
The 23-year-old, who has come through the ranks at Swansea, has made four senior appearances for the Swans, but the last of those appearances came in the 2011-12 season.
Alfei is in the final six months of his contract at Swansea and the defender will be keen to impress at Mansfield as he bids to try and win a new deal at the Liberty Stadium.
Mansfield have moved to sign Alfei on loan for the second half of the season as they look to maintain their push for promotion.
