Saido Berahino sends message on Twitter, drops hint about future

Saido Berahino, linked with Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Stoke City, seems set to remain at West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino has suggested on social networking site Twitter that he is not going to leave the club on transfer deadline day.

According to Sky Sports, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Stoke City are interested in signing the 22-year-old.

The former England Under-21 international has suggested on Twitter that he is not going to leave The Hawthorns tonight.

Berahino’s tweet refers to the controversial situation he created for himself in the summer of 2015.

As reported by BBC Sport at the time, on deadline day in the summer transfer window, the youngster hit out at West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace for blocking his move to Tottenham.

It seems that the youngster has learned from his mistake and is not going to do anything rash this time around.

Berahino has scored just three goals and created only four chances in 18 Premier League appearances for West Brom so far this campaign.

The youngster has a pass accuracy of 81% and a shot accuracy of 58%, and has won two headers, eight dribbles and five tackles.
