Richard Keys' surprise praise for West Ham and Slaven Bilic; transformation complete?

The TV presenter is fast becoming West Ham's secret admirer!

Is Richard Keys now West Ham United's biggest fan?

He took a step closer to the title on Monday afternoon, according to his personal blog, when he praised the Hammers and even suggested he wants them to beat Liverpool in the FA Cup!

It's a stark departure from the barrage of criticism the television presenter has aimed at the east London club in the past.

This season, he has constantly emphasised his prediction that West Ham will collapse and finish with the same - or less - points than under Sam Allardyce last season.

Recently, it's perhaps become clear to Keys that that won't happen.

As such, he's no praised Slaven Bilic in his personal blog - and wished West Ham well in the cup:

"Liverpool survive but if I'm honest I hope West Ham turf them out in the replay. At least Slaven Bilic and his team look as though they want to win the tie. And I like the way Bilic talks so emotionally about the competition."

West Ham face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Tuesday night and, on Sunday, announced the loan signing of Emmanuel Emenike.

As well as the FA Cup, then, the Hammers can look forward to an exciting rest of the season in the Premier League.
