According to The Sun, Tottenham still want to sign striker Moussa Dembele from Fulham - and are prepared to offer Joshua Onomah on loan in a part-exchange deal.
Dembele, 19, joined Fulham from Paris Saint-Germain in 2012, and has been in superb form this season for the Championship club.
The Sun report that Dembele had a medical with Tottenham over the weekend ahead of a move to White Hart Lane, which would see him link up with his namesake Mousa Dembele, also formerly of Fulham.
However, it's stated that the deal broke down on Sunday, because Fulham wanted to keep Dembele on loan until the end of the season, whereas Spurs wanted Dembele immediately to offer cover for star striker Harry Kane.
Now, the report suggests that Spurs are prepared to offer 18-year-old midfielder Joshua Onomah on loan to Fulham in a bid to force the deal over the line and get Dembele in before tonight's transfer deadline.
Onomah has featured as a substitute for Spurs this season, and getting him some regular first-team football could be a smart move - especially if it tempts Fulham into accepting Dembel's immediate departure.
Given that Dembele's contract expires at the end of the season, Fulham appear to be on the verge of losing their French striker one way or another, and Slavisa Jokanovic may think that cash plus Onomah on loan is a deal worth accepting.
