Report: Swansea chase Barcelona forward Sandro

The youngster is down the pecking order at the Nou Camp.

Swansea City are interested in a move for Barcelona youngster Sandro, reports Mundo Deportivo.

The Swans have been keen to add forwards to their squad throughout January, with the front line being an area they have struggled in throughout this season.

They have already moved to try and solve it, with new manager Francesco Guidolin securing Alberto Paloschi from Serie A side Chievo.

With striker Bafetimbi Gomis continuing to be linked with a move away though, they could be in the market for another addition to their forward line.

And that has led them to looking at Barcelona youngster Sandro, with Mundo Deportivo claiming the Swans are interested in the forward.

The player has found it tough to break through at the Nou Camp, with the trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all guaranteed starters while fellow La Masia graduate Munir is also ahead of him in the pecking order.

A move may be difficult to secure though, with the La Liga champions not keen on a sale after their failure to secure another forward, namely Celta Vigo’s Nolito, so far in this window.
