Report: Saido Berahino will meet with Jeremy Peace after Newcastle, Stoke bids rejected

Tottenham are also still said to be interested in the West Brom forward.

West Brom forward Saido Berahino will meet with Jeremy Peace after bids from Newcastle United and Stoke City were rejected for the 22-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.

Indeed, Berahino wants to leave West Brom and Tottenham Hotspur, the Magpies and the Potters have all been linked with a move.

Newcastle and Stoke have both reportedly made concrete offers but West Brom are said to have shunted them.

As such, Berahino will seek talks with Peace, who has always insisted the youngster will remain with the Baggies.

Meanwhile, the Mail report that Tottenham are still interested in the 22-year-old West Brom forward but are consistent with other outlets in suggesting that Spurs won't make a bid until the summer.

Should Berahino make any headway during his talks with Peace, however, that may well change for Tottenham.

But neither the north London side nor Newcastle United or Stoke City should hold their breath. We were in this situation last Deadline Day, too...
