Report outlines price West Ham United can pay to make Emmanuel Emenike’s move permanent

West Ham United could make Emmanuel Emenike’s move permanent, if he impresses.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, West Ham United are able to make Emmanuel Emenike’s move a permanent one for £8.1 million.

West Ham have snapped Emenike up until the end of the season on a temporary move, but they have already agreed a price with Fenerbahce to make the switch a longer term one.

The Hammers did a similar deal for Manuel Lanzini, when they signed him on a loan deal at the start of the season.

Emenike has been brought in by Slaven Bilic to increase his side’s attacking threat.

West Ham currently have a number of strikers on the treatment table, and Emenike is likely to have a prominent role to play, as a result.

Bilic knows the striker well, and he will compete with the likes of Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia for a place up front.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Emenike’s arrival could be bad news for Nikica Jelavic, as the Croatian forward could be forced to leave Upton Park.
