The Belgian is all set for a switch to Riverside.

Not many players would want to be exiting Leicester City right now, with the club potentially on the verge of an outstanding Premier League title fight, but it seems that one player might be on their way

It is reported that Championship side Middlesbrough could be on the verge of signing Leicester City full-back Ritchie De Laet on loan until the end of the season.

The Sun is reporting that the deal is as good as done as the Belgian looks to make a switch to the North East.

The lightning quick defender, who came through the ranks at Manchester United, has played 15 times for the high-flying Foxes this season but not often as a starter and he is likely to offer some excellent cover at the back for the Championship promotion chasers.

De Laet, who can cover all three positions across the back-four but is most comfortable at right-back, will now be swapping a bid for the Premier League title for the Championship if the move goes ahead as expected.
