Report: Hearts striker Osman Sow set to move to Henan Jianye

Mark Warburton's Rangers and Ronny Deila's Celtic had reportedly been interested in Osman Sow.

According to a report on the Daily Mail’s live transfer feed at 14:26, Hearts striker Osman Sow is set to move to Henan Jianye.

Sow has been one of the most in form strikers in the whole of Scotland over the first half of the season, and his impressive goal-scoring record has caught the eye.

Sow has scored 11 goals in 27 appearances for Hearts this term, leading to him attracting the intentions of a range of clubs.

According to the Edinburgh News, both Rangers and Celtic had their eyes on Sow, but they have been blown out of the water by Henan Jianye.

The Chinese club have paid over £1 million to sign the 25-year-old, leaving Rangers and Celtic having to look elsewhere for targets.

Rangers are expected to bring in Michael O'Halloran from St Johnstone (Daily Mail), while Celtic are likely to sign Colin Kazim-Richards later today (Sky Sports).

Hearts, meanwhile, are already strengthening with Sow set to leave. The Jambos have brought in Don Cowie from Wigan Athletic on a free transfer.
