The Premier League side remain interested in signing the 28-year-old, according to reports.
Crystal Palace are still hoping to clinch a deal to sign Hull City midfielder Mohamed Diame, but they will have to part with £5m if they hope to complete a move for the 28-year-old, according to the Daily Mail.
Diame has been exceptional for the Tigers this season as they look to book their return to the top flight at the earliest opportunity. His four goals and four assists have helped fire Steve Bruce's men to the top of the Championship, one point above Middlesbrough, and at least five points clear of the sides currently occupying the play-off places.
But Hull may have to continue their promotion push without the Senegal international, should Palace manage to offload one of their current squad and Pardew decide that Diame is worth paying £5m for.
Certainly, with the problems Palace have often had in front of goal this term - their top goalscorer is midfielder Yohan Cabaye with five league strikes - the possibility of adding someone who has scored and created plenty from midfield already this season may tempt the Eagles to meet Hull's asking price.
