Aston Villa are interested in signing Ravel Morrison from Lazio on transfer deadline day, according to The Daily Mail.
The British newspaper has reported on its live transfer feed at 9:47am this morning (Monday, February 1) that Villa, Bournemouth, Swansea City, Torino and Sampdoria are considering moves for the 22-year-old midfielder.
Morrison moved to Lazio in 2015, but he has struggled for playing tim so far this season. The former Manchester United and West Ham United prospect has been able to make just three appearances in Serie A for the Italian side.
The 22-year-old has created one chance, has a pass accuracy of 93%, and has won one header and two dribbles.
Villa are struggling for survival in the Premier League at the moment and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Remi Garde’s side are currently at the foot of the standings with just 13 points from 23 matches, 10 points behind 17th-placed Norwich City.
