Report: Arsenal recall Serge Gnabry from West Brom, Charlton and Brighton interested

Arsenal have recalled Serge Gnabry from West Brom and could loan him out again.

Arsenal have recalled Serge Gnabry from his loan spell at West Brom, report The Times.

The German under-21 international has barely featured for the Premier League side, much to the frustration of Arsenal fans.

He has been subsequently overtaken in the Arsenal pecking order by Joel Campbell and Alex Iwobi, and has now gone 18 months without barely playing any Premier League football after a lost campaign to injury in 2014/15.

A loan move to the Championship could be an option for Gnabry, and The Times. report two clubs have already expressed an interest.

Brighton and Hove Albion and Charlton Athletic are the two club named in the report, both with different aspirations.

Brighton are competing to win promotion to the Premier League, and Gnabry could link up with exciting Manchester United loan striker James Wilson.

Charlton are simply battling to avoid relegation, and will hope their successful loan of Francis Coquelin last season could give them an edge in negotiations.
