Predicted West Ham and Aston Villa line-ups: January signing to start

Here is how we predict West Ham United and Aston Villa will line up this week:

To be played on Tuesday 2nd February 2016 at 19:45. Venue: Boleyn Ground, London

Odds: West Ham 5/6, Draw 12/5, Aston Villa 7/2

West Ham United welcome Aston Villa to Upton Park on Tuesday evening as both sides look to get another three points on the board.

The Hammers are currently sixth in the Premier League table, one point below Manchester United and six points outside the Champions League qualifying places.

In contrast Villa are bottom of the league with just 13 points from 23 matches and Remi Garde’s side are 10 points from safety with 15 games remaining.

That makes every encounter between now and May absolutely vital, and Villa will be desperate to get three points against Slaven Bilic’s side.

In early team news, West Ham must do without Carl Jenkinson, Manuel Lanzini, Diafra Sakho and Andy Carroll due to injury.

They also have minor doubts regarding Mark Noble, James Tomkins and Cheikhou Kouyate while new signing Emmanuel Emenike is not yet registered to play.

As for Villa, Garde cannot call on Jordan Amavi or Adama Traore while Libor Kozak, Gabby Agbonlahor and Carlos Sanchez are all rated at just 25 per cent to recover in time for Tuesday.
