HITC Sport understands Gillingham have rejected £2million bid for star man.
Bristol City have seen their latest bid for highly-rated Gillingham star Bradley Dack rejected, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Dack has been one of the players of the season in League One with his performances playing a key role in helping Gillingham challenge for promotion.
The 21-year-old has scored 14 goals from midfield and has also laid on eight assists for the Gills so far this season and his showings have not gone unnoticed higher up the leagues.
Several Championship clubs expressed an interest in Dack before the close of summer transfer window, and his suitors have continued to keep tabs on his progress.
Bristol City have held a long-term interest in Dack and they have targeted the former Charlton man as someone who can boost their survival bid in the Championship.
However, their bid of £2million for Dack on deadline day has again snubbed by the League One promotion chasers.
Gillingham are reluctant to lose Dack as they look to try and win promotion from League One and it seems the player will remain at Priestfield when the transfer window shuts.
