Jack Sullivan sends message on Twitter regarding deadline day business

West Ham United will not make any signings on transfer deadline day, says Jack Sullivan.

West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan’s son has revealed on social networking site Twitter that the club will not make any signings on transfer deadline day.

Jack Sullivan has claimed that West Ham’s January transfer business is over.

West Ham made two signings last month, bringing in defender Sam Byram from Championship side Leeds United and Nigerian centre-forward Emmanuel Emenike from Turkish club Fenerbahce on loan until the end of the season.

It seems that the Hammers’ board and manager Slaven Bilic is happy with the squad and will not add to it until the summer.

It is a good sign, as it shows that Bilic knows what he wants and is not panicking about signing players on deadline day.

West Ham are sixth in the Premier League table at the moment with 36 points from 23 matches.

The London outfit are just six points behind Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently fourth in the standings at the moment and occupy the final Champions League spot.
