Tottenham striker Harry Kane may have been waiting up to see if his side would do any deals...
Transfer deadline was a frustrating one for Tottenham Hotspur fans, who saw no incoming players signed.
There were two exits, with Federico Fazio loaned to Sevilla, and Milos Vejlkovic joining Werder Bremen permanently.
Star striker Harry Kane did not get the back up striker most fans and pundits agree he needs in order to stay fresh, increasing the pressure on him in the second half of the campaign.
He remained in good spirits, taking to Twitter shortly after the transfer deadline passed, joking that he too was off... but just to bed.
Kane will be needed when Tottenham take on Norwich City on Tuesday evening, with Spurs trying to keep the pressure on their rivals at the top of the table.
Spurs cannot afford for him to get injured as they have very limited options without him - and chairman Daniel Levy will be the subject of frustration for fans if the worst case scenario happens.
