Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Who would win between these two?!
The biggest story to come out of Deadline Day has to be the announcement that Manchester City will replace Manuel Pellegrini with Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola at the end of the season.
It was a deal that had been rumoured for several months and picked up even more traction when Guardiola revealed that he would not be staying in the Bundesliga after this season.
With Pellegrini announcing that he will be leaving and the Spaniard would be replacing him, pretty much every football fan went a little crazy, with some wondering if City's current boss had been given plenty of notice.
Very much hope Pellegrini has been informed from the start about Guardiola's arrival. Incredibly disrespectful otherwise on both fronts.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) February 1, 2016
While most people usually just tweet stuff back at Lineker about him doing a poo on a pitch, this time we saw Sky Sports rival Jamie Carragher have a cheeky dig, thus sparking a little bit of Twitter beef!
@GaryLineker Totally agree......hope you informed Everton in 1986 when Barcelona made first contact!!— Jamie Carragher (@Carra23) February 1, 2016
Totally different thing but Everton informed me that they'd accepted their offer. https://t.co/JSWbfj3aKs— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) February 1, 2016
Oh, that really is cold from Lineker, isn't it! We wonder when these two will lock heads again this season... we hope it isn't too long before they do!
