Four Leeds United players look set to stay after under-21 line-up named

Casper Sloth, Jordan Botaka, Tom Adeyemi and Lee Erwin all look set to remain with Leeds United.

Leeds United’s Casper Sloth, Jordan Botaka, Tom Adeyemi and Lee Erwin all seem likely to remain at Elland Road after being named in the under-21 side’s line-up today.

The Whites have a development squad fixture against Coventry City, which kicked off at 1:00pm, and it is safe to assume if any of the quartet were set for a move they would not have been included.

Sloth, Botaka and Erwin have all been tipped to be heading towards the exit door at Elland Road, after struggling for appearances this season.

Botaka and Erwin only joined Leeds in the summer, but they have failed to break into the starting line-up regularly thus far.

Sloth, meanwhile, has not made an appearance for Leeds since February 2015.

Adeyemi, on the other hand, is currently on a loan spell from Cardiff City, but it seems that his move will not be cut short, despite the increasing competition knocking him down the pecking order.

If any of the four were to leave today it will take a dramatic twist, as there would almost certainly not be enough time for them to take a medical and agree personal terms with another club, before the deadline at 11pm.
