The Italian has been linked with a move away from Leeds.
But, with the transfer deadline fast approaching, a Leeds United stay is looking increasingly likely for the 31-year-old striker.
Does that create a problem for Steve Evans?
Indeed, it has been stated that Antenucci wants to leave Leeds. His contract is up at the end of the season and his desire to leave is now public knowledge.
Evans, however, will have to make do with the Italian and, if he stays, likely won't have a replacement.
Could it then become a case of Antenucci having little to play for? It will be a huge challenge for the Leeds boss to motivate him.
Chris Wood is the Scot's first choice but playing him every week isn't realistic - due to both form and fitness.
Souleymane Doukara is in form but recently linked up with Antenucci. Evans will need the Italian but, if he is frustrated at having to stay at Elland Road when he could be back home in Italy, he isn't guaranteed to give the Whites 100 per cent.
Solid man management will be needed...
