The Leeds United Under-21 side will take on their Coventry City counterparts today.
Jordan Botaka and Lee Erwin have been included in the Leeds United starting lineup for this afternoon’s Under-21 game against Coventry City.
Winger Botaka and forward Erwin joined Leeds in the summer of 2015 and were supposed to be first-team players.
Both Botaka, 22, and Erwin, who is just 21 years of age, have sparingly featured for the Whites senior side so far this season.
In fact, as HITC Sport reported last month, Leeds were considering sending out Botaka on loan, although the youngster has already played for two clubs this season.
Kalvin Phillips and Cardiff City-owned midfielder Tom Adeyemi also start for the Leeds U21 side against their Coventry City counterparts this afternoon.
The Leeds U21 team suffered a 4-1 defeat at home to Barnsley a week ago in their first Professional Development League 2 outing of 2016, six days after getting knocked out of the the Premier League Cup by Liverpool.
