Supporters are urging the Scottish champions to make a move for the Chelsea skipper.
Celtic fans believe they have a solution for the club’s defensive woes…
Indeed, after John Terry announced he will leave Chelsea at the end of the season, plenty of Bhoys supporters took to Twitter urging the Scottish champions to make a move at the end of the season.
Some even suggested trying to bring Terry to Parkhead today.
It certainly makes sense. The 35-year-old has quality, experience – and is far better than any defenders Celtic currently possess.
It could be just like Roy Keane’s move late in his career, while Terry has ruled out joining another Premier League side.
In that respect, Celtic could very well be one of the best possible destinations for the Chelsea captain.
MLS or China could work wonderfully for Terry in terms of money. But, in terms of football, could the Bhoys have the edge?
Here’s what Celtic fans were saying on Twitter after his Chelsea exit was confirmed…
I would take John Terry to Celtic and give him a 3 year contract. Like him or not he can defend and would be great in Europe. #celtic— leroy o neill (@leroythenail) January 31, 2016

He's a great leader, a Celtic fan and would get on really well with Leigh Griffiths.
Dunno why Celtic don't move for John Terry.— Jamzy (@IIJAMZYBHOYII) January 31, 2016
