Arsenal and Tottenham stars send messages to fans on Twitter on deadline day

Gabriel Paulista and Nacer Chadli have both expressed their happiness at being Arsenal and Tottenham players.

Transfer deadline day can be a stressful time for a player, and those who are not worried are simply thankful.

Having to uproot family to move halfway across the country, and even to a different country, at the last minute poses logistical and emotional challenges.

Two players at Arsenal and Tottenham expressed their satisfaction with their current roles at their clubs, sending messages to supporters on deadline day.

Tottenham midfielder Nacer Chadli has now made 100 appearances for the club, and sent a message expressing how proud he is, via Twitter.

The feeling was shared across North London by Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Paulista, who was celebrating a milestone of his own a year after leaving Spanish side Villarreal.

The Brazilian has made a good impression at Arsenal in his first 12 months at the club, and fans will be hoping that sole transfer window addition this time, Mohamed Elneny, will do the same.
