Andros Townsend reacts on Twitter to Alex Pritchard's West Brom move

The Newcastle winger has wished the Tottenham youngster good luck during his time at West Brom.

Newcastle United winger Andros Townsend and Burnley striker Andre Gray have wished Alex Pritchard luck on Twitter after the Tottenham Hotspur youngster was sent on loan to West Brom.

Indeed, Gray knows a thing or two about transfer moves, having completed a switch to Burnley earlier this season - after which he continued to score goals regularly in the Championship.

Gray was a team-mate of Pritchard's back at Brentford - where he was on loan from Tottenham last campaign.

So he'll know exactly what the 22-year-old is capable of when given game time and West Brom fans will hope for the same at the Hawthorns.

Pritchard has made just the one appearance for Spurs this season and is clearly not a priority where the first team is concerned at the moment.

Supporters at White Hart Lane, however, hold big hope for the youngster's future. As such, another encouraging loan spell could convince Tottenham to use him next term.

That said, success with West Brom could also open the door to a permanent move to the Baggies...

Meanwhile, Newcastle man Townsend - who left Tottenham for the Magpies earlier this month - also congratulated Pritchard.
