10pm Deadline Day news: Tottenham would have moved for Berahino if stance softened, Leeds United business over, Leicester City fails in striker hunt

The latest transfer news relating to Tottenham, Leeds United, Middlesbrough, Leicester City, West Brom and many others.

Leicester City have failed to bring in a new striker. The Daily Mail is reporting that Loic Remy, Ahmed Musa and Mame Biram Diouf were in the crosshairs today but all three deals have fallen apart and will not be happening.

Leeds United fans will be disappointed to hear that the club's business is done. The Yorkshire Evening Post report that Leeds will not be bringing in any new players - despite late interest in Kyle Lafferty and Kike. The loan window is likely to see these names reemerge.

They are not the only club packing up early. Sky Sports (21:30) is reporting that Tottenham Hotspur are done. They were considering a move for Saido Berahino if West Brom softened their stance but that did not happen and Spurs decided to steer clear.

DONE DEAL: Arsenal striker Yaya Sanogo, who recently had a shocking loan spell at Ajax, has joined Championship strugglers Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season.

Charlton have also signed Rod Fanni on loan from Al-Arabi.

DONE DEAL: Steven Fletcher has made a shock move to Marseille. The Sunderland striker has joined the French side on loan and is out of contract in the summer.

DONE DEAL: Jordan Rhodes protracted transfer to Middlesbrough has finally gone through. The deal looked dead yesterday but he has exited Blackburn Rovers this evening.

Middlesbrough have also signed Ritchie De Laet on loan from Leicester City.

DONE DEAL: Everton have signed Oumar Niasse. He cost £13.5 million making him their third most expensive signing.

DONE DEAL: Hull City have signed goalkeeper Dusan Kuciak from Legia Warsaw.


In another DONE DEAL Hull have also snapped up Nick Powell on loan from Hull City.
