The Everton midfielder has been hoping to leave this month, with Villa and Sunderland hoping to bring him in. However, the report indicates that Everton will keep ahold of him until the summer, and then let him leave on a free transfer.

Swansea City are looking at Reading midfielder Danny Williams, Sky Sports report at 9:38am. The Swans are keen to sign a new midfielder today, and the 26-year-old USA international has emerged as a target with house to go before the end of the transfer window.

Conflicting reports on Crystal Palace

Sky Sports have claimed at 9:20am that Mo Diame is a target of Crystal Palace. The Hull midfielder would bring added covered to Slaven Bilic’s midfield, but that report is conflicted by the Mirror, who state that Alan Pardew is not in for Diame. However, that report indicates that the Eagles could sign an unnamed player today.
