Tottenham transfer news: Fazio tells Levy he wants Sevilla move; Pochettino to make one final Berahino bid

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

With just two days of the latest transfer window remaining, Tottenham Hotspur fans may be wondering if there will be any incoming transfers at White Hart Lane, and according to press reports this morning that certainly seems likely.

According to a report from the Mirror, Tottenham have won the race to sign Fulham’s £5million-rated striker Moussa Dembele with the player allegedly undergoing a medical at the club this weekend.

That said manager Mauricio Pochettino refused to confirm or deny that he had landed the exciting young Frenchman following Spurs’ FA Cup fourth round victory against Colchester United.

The same paper claims Tottenham are not done there, with Pochettino prepared to make one final bid for West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino before the window slams shut on Monday.

In other news, Spain’s El Correo reports that Tottenham centre-back Federcio Fazio has told his chairman Daniel Levy that he only wants to join Sevilla if he leaves North London this month.

The Argentine has fallen out of favour at the club although the injury sustained by Jan Vertonghen may prompt a re-think from Pochettino given the number of fronts his side is still fighting on.
