Taylor and Cook are considered two of the brightest young players outside the Premier League.
The pair have been two of Leeds’ most consistent players this season, and their form is attracting the attention of top flight clubs.
However, although it seems that big money has come in for the duo Evans insists that the pair are not for sale.
"When you see those two lads play like they’ve been playing, we have to hope that nothing gets ridiculous," Evans admitted.
"There is already huge money on the table - huge money. But it’s my understanding, when I spoke to the president this morning, that they can put whatever amount of dollars or sterling on the table, they’re going to be at Elland Road."
Leeds have already sold Sam Byram to West Ham United during the January transfer window, so to lose another of their prized prospects would be a huge blow.
The Whites have also been busy in terms of incoming additions in January, with Toumani Diagouraga, Liam Bridcutt and Mustapha Carayol all joining or extending their deals.
