Tottenham's Federico Fazio is reportedly on the verge of re-joining Sevilla.
Spurs have yet to make a new signing in the January transfer window, but did allow winger Andros Townsend's move to Newcastle earlier this week - and another player could be on the verge of leaving White Hart Lane.
Spanish newspaper Marca report that, after complicated, difficult discussions with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, La Liga side Sevilla have agreed a deal to sign defender Federico Fazio on loan until the end of the season.
Fazio, 28, racked up nearly 200 appearances for Sevilla during a seven-and-a-half year spell with the Andalusian side, and linked up with his compatriot Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs in the summer of 2014.
However, after playing 25 times last season, Fazio has made just one appearance for Spurs this season, and appears to be their fifth choice option at centre back, behind Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Kevin Wimmer and Eric Dier.
Now though, Marca's report suggests that Fazio is set to return to Sevilla on loan until the end of the season, where he will be expecting to play much more first-team football than he has been getting at Tottenham this season.
Should Fazio have been given more of a chance this season?
