Newcastle United are hoping to add further quality in the January transfer window.
According to a report on Sky Sports, Newcastle United are lining up three transfers before deadline day.
Newcastle want to add two new strikers to their squad, and they also are keen to snap up a left-back before the close of the transfer window.
The Magpies are closing in on signing Seydou Doumbia, with the Roma striker currently undergoing a medical at St. James’ Park.
But Newcastle are not finished with the addition of Doumbia, and they are set to make even more additions to their fast-improving squad.
Newcastle are believed to be tracking both West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino and Swansea City’s Bafetimbi Gomis, as they look to improve their forward line for the matches to come.
The Magpies are also hopeful of finalising a deal for Guilherme Siqueira from Atletico Madrid, according to Sky Sports, in what could be a busy few days on Tyneside.
Newcastle have already brought in Jonjo Shelvey, Henri Saivet and Andros Townsend during the current window but it seems that may have just been the start.
