Patrick Bamford says that he cannot wait to get started after completing a move to Norwich City this weekend.
The Chelsea forward has joined the Canaries on loan until the end of the season, as Alex Neil’s side look to increase their attacking threat.
Norwich have already signed Steven Naismith from Everton in January, but Neil felt that the addition of another front man would be key and moved to sign Bamford on Saturday.
The young striker is now looking forward to showing what he can do at the top level.
Bamford has a point to prove at Carrow Road, after a failed loan spell at Crystal Palace earlier in the campaign.
Bamford struggled for appearances and goals for the Eagles, in what was the first real top flight chance of his career.
Norwich will be requiring Bamford to hit the ground running, as their position in England’s top flight looks precarious.
The Canaries are currently just two points above the drop zone, with their next fixture coming against Tottenham Hotspur.
