The 18-year-old was full of praise for two fellow Leeds midfielders.

Leeds United playmaker Lewis Cook has heaped praise on Toumani Diagouraga and Liam Bridcutt after their side's 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup, according to BBC Radio Leeds.

Indeed, the teenager believes both midfielders are very similar - and very good.

And the playmaker can see a partnership developing between the Leeds duo, with both being brought to Elland Road this January.

Cook told the BBC: "Him and Liam are very similar players, it's good for them to play together. He's a great lad and a good addition to the team."

Evans will obviously need to think of different scenarios where different systems and players will be needed.

No manager can survive on one way of doing things - Uwe Rosler and his infamous 'philosophy' found that out all too quickly.

For the most part, however, it looks as though Leeds have found a very good formula. Diagouraga and Bridcutt appear to work together well, allowing Cook to create more further forward.

Next up for Leeds is a home clash against Nottingham Forest. United drew the reverse fixture 1-1 at the City Ground earlier this season.
