Confirmed: Celtic lineup v Ross County

Celtic will face Ross County in the Scottish League Cup this afternoon…

Celtic will be looking to progress to the final of the Scottish League Cup final this afternoon when they take on Ross County at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

The Bhoys will head into the semi-final tie as favourites and will be expected to win pretty comfortably. The Hoops will head into the game against their Scottish Premiership rivals on the back of a 3-1 victory over St. Johnstone at home in the league.

Celtic are doing quite well in the Scottish Premiership and are set to win the league title yet again. Ronny Deila’s side are six points clear of second-placed Aberdeen and are looking superb.

County, though, will be aiing to give Celtic a run for their money at Hampden Park this afternoon. Jim McIntyre’s side, who are fourth in the league table at the moment, have a good squad and some decent players.

It promises to be an interesting Scottish League Cup tie, and this is how Celtic will line up:

Celtic XI: Gordon; Lustig, Ambrose, Boyata, Tierney; Bitton, Johansen; Mackay-Steven, McGregor, Armstrong; Griffiths

Subs: Bailly, Izaguirre, Sviatchenko, Forrest, Ciftci, Brown, Nesbitt
