Celtic forward Carlton Cole has wished Kyle Knoyle luck on Twitter after the West Ham United youngster's loan move to Dundee United was confirmed.

Knoyle, a right-back, is a prospect at Upton Park and Cole wants him to show the Scottish Premiership what he's made of...

It's always difficult to keep track of all a club's youngsters, especially when Reece Oxford made such an impression early in the season.

The 19-year-old, though, has trained with the West Ham first team so is clearly rated.

Meanwhile, Celtic striker Cole also joked with James Tomkins on Twitter after the Hammers' 0-0 draw with Liverpool in the FA Cup.

Tomkins was left with a huge gash on his forehead, prompting treatment with stitches - but hard man Cole told him it was 'just a graze.'

West Ham face Aston Villa next during a Tuesday-night Premier League clash. Celtic, meanwhile, may lick their wounds for some time after losing 3-1 to Ross County in the Scottish League Cup semi-final.
