Tottenham Hotspur coasted into round five of the FA Cup this afternoon as they convincingly beat Colchester United 4-2.
Spurs were 1-0 up at half time as Nacer Chadli swept home a superb strike from the edge of the box, and Eric Dier's deflected strike made it 2-0 in the second half.
Chadli's header gave him a second goal and Tottenham a third, before Colchester grabbed a consolation through Ben Davies' own goal.
Spurs ended the scoring late on as Tom Carroll's close range finish made it 4-1, giving Spurs a comfortable passage into the next round despite manager Mauricio Pochettino resting any of his big name players.
One player who was given a chance to shine was Chadli, who has enjoyed impressive performances against Leicester City and Crystal Palace of late.
The Belgian international has missed a chunk of the season through injury, but is back to full fitness now, and has notched four goals and two assists in his last three games in an impressive run of form.
After the game, a host of Tottenham fans took to Twitter in order to react to Chadli's performance, with some stating that he can be a deputy for Harry Kane in attack, rather than Spurs splash out for a new striker before Monday's transfer deadline.
Others believe that Chadli should play against Norwich in midweek as a reward for his fine recent displays, giving Pochettino a headache given the form of Chadli, Erik Lamela and Son Heung-min out wide.
Here are some of the reactions from Tottenham fans on Twitter after Chadli's performance against Colchester United...
This was perfect for Chadli today to build up his fitness & he's grabbed himself 2 goals & an assist. He could be vital for us #COYS— Richard Maskell (@RMaskell1981) January 30, 2016
Chadli does that 1 thing in a game that makes the rest of his performance irrelevant & that's the ability to score at any given time.#THFC— Ricky Sacks (@RickSpur) January 30, 2016
For me Chadli has to start mid-week v Norwich. His form has come at an important time. Eriksen at No 10 with Alli RM interchanging #thfc— Paul F Humphrey (@bump1984) January 30, 2016
Chadli 4 in 3 now , can't really drop him next game in reality, that's the luxury of our side ATM #thfc— SirCraigGeest (@thegreatgeesty) January 30, 2016
Chadli been great upon his return from injury. Glad to have someone who you can count on to score/is versatile. Will come in handy. #thfc— Spurs In The Blood (@SpursInTheBlood) January 30, 2016
Chadli absolutely bossed it today, any injury to Kane and he should step into the central role rotating with Son— Joe (@JoeCohen77) January 30, 2016
Hats off to Chadli he's been on a great run of form lately. We really still need a backup striker though #COYS— Den (@_SamuraiJack) January 30, 2016
Why does Chadli do this to us.!! When he turns up he's a real asset and always looks like scoring goals.! Well played lad #coys— jay (@32yid) January 30, 2016
Nacer Chadli is knocking on the door, he's calling for a start clearly. Our second striker is here, Poch knows it #COYS— kev (@kevinfds) January 30, 2016
