Simon Mignolet reacts on Twitter to Liverpool's draw with West Ham

The 27-year-old goalkeeper took to social media after the Reds dew 0-0 with West Ham in the FA Cup.

Simon Mignolet was delighted by the 'great effort' of Liverpool's youngsters against West Ham United on Saturday evening.

Indeed, the Reds drew 0-0 with the Hammers at Anfield despite Jurgen Klopp being forced to field a very young starting XI.

That said, the Belgian shot stopper feels Liverpool deserved more than a draw.

Once again, the Merseyside outfit's problems in front of goal troubled them - as they made it three games at home without scoring.

The replay leaves West Ham as slight favourites - they haven't lost to Liverpool yet this season and will be at home for the fourth-round clash.

But, if the Reds can pick up some form by then, they don't lack anything in the way of resilience and could set their sights on a cup double this season, with a Capital One Cup final against Manchester City coming up for Klopp's men at the end of February.
