Report suggests Nottingham Forest and Leeds United among six Championship clubs chasing Tom Lawrence

The Welsh international is also wanted by Hull City, Burnley, Ipswich Town and Cardiff City.

Six Championship clubs are said to be on the hunt for Leicester City winger Tom Lawrence - who will not have his loan deal at Blackburn Rovers extended beyond this month, according to the Daily Mail.

The clubs in question are current leaders Hull City, promotion hopefuls Burnley and Ipswich Town and mid-table outfits Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.

Hull are looking for recruits to help them in their hunt for the title whilst Burnley will want more recruits in their hunt for promotion. Ipswich Town recently released Tommy Oar - with Lawrence a decent replacement.

Forest need another attacking recruit whilst Leeds United have been looking for another attacker all month, with little joy.

The 22-year-old Wales international is a product of the Manchester United youth system but joined Leicester in 2014. He has since had spells on loan at Rotherham United and Blackburn Rovers - where he has scored two goals in 24 appearances this season.

Lawrence can play in a number of positions, including out wide on the left and as a striker.

It will be interesting to see whether Lawrence chooses Hull City, Burnley, Ipswich Town, Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest or Leeds United this week.
