A £5 million fee has been suggested for the player.
The French youngster has been linked with numerous teams in recent weeks but it now seems as though Spurs have won the race for the player - who has scored 11 goals this season.
The report claims that Tottenham will loan him back to Fulham for the rest of the season - something which did not previously appear to be an option.
The Guardian reported earlier in the week that Fulham had no intention of selling the player - as they felt he was invaluable in regards to their Championship relegation battle.
However Sky Sports then reported that Dembele could be on his way to Spurs for a fee between £4 and £6 million.
The Guardian then went on to suggest that Spurs were set to win the race for the player for an initial fee of £5 million.
Dembele, who was due to be out of contract at the end of the current season, had also been linked with plenty of moves abroad - which would have left Fulham pennyless from the deal.
Now it seems they are all set to cash in on the unsettled striker.
