According to The Scottish Sun, Norwegian midfielder Kristoffer Ajer is poised to join Celtic before Monday's transfer deadline.
Celtic have already snapped up Danish international defender Erik Sviatchenko from FC Midtjylland, whilst the Daily Mail report that deals for Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts and Feyenoord striker Colin Kazim-Richards could also be completed soon.
More deals may be targeted before Monday's deadline though, and the situation surrounding midfielder Kristoffer Ajer is certainly one to keep an eye one.
The 17-year-old wonderkid, who played for IK Start in his native Norway, recently joined Celtic on a week-long trial, with his compatriot Ronny Deila able to assess his performances alongside the rest of the Bhoys squad.
Norwegian newspaper VGN recently reported that Celtic have been told to pay £800,000 for Ajer, a value which, at the time of writing, the Bhoys weren't prepared to pay.
However, The Scottish Sun today reported that giant teenager Ajer will become a Celtic player before the transfer deadline after impressing manager Deila, meaning Celtic could have three deals going through in the coming hours.
With Ajer, Roberts and Kazim-Richards potentially in the door, that would give Deila a signing in key areas; centre back in Sviatchenko, central midfielder Ajer, winger Roberts and striker Kazim-Richards, which could be key additions for the Bhoys.
