Liverpool fans react on Twitter to Brad Smith's performance v West Ham

The 21-year-old impressed the Reds faithful in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

One of Brad Smith's first notable Liverpool appearances was not a good one...

Indeed, the youngster came on against Chelsea back when Brendan Rodgers was in charge and could barely control a ball.

Things are looking much smoother for the Liverpool prospect these days and, against West Ham United in the FA Cup, Smith impressed plenty of Reds fans.

There were some who still criticised him but, generally, it appears supporters have taking a liking to the 21-year-old after his display v the Hammers.

There are calls, in fact, for Alberto Moreno to be dropped, such is the Spaniard's poor defensive play and lack of responsibility when he charges forward.

It might be a bit soon for Smith, of course, but there is certainly a future for him at Liverpool if he can show enough determination to keep progressing through the ranks. Hopefully he isn't just another youngster who fades away...
