Leeds fans discuss Jordan Botaka’s future

Jordan Botaka is struggling for playing time at Leeds United at the moment.

Leeds United fans have been discussing the future of Jordan Botaka on HITC Sport and on social networking site Twitter.

Botaka joined Leeds from Dutch club Excelsior in the summer of 2015 and was expected to be a huge success at Elland Road.

The 22-year-old, who can play as a winger or as a forward, arrived in England will a strong reputation, but the youngster has flattered to deceive so far.

The DR Congo international attacker has been able to make only nine appearances in the Championship for Leeds so far this campaign.

Botaka has yet to score a goal and has created only eight chances. The youngster has a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 20%, and has won two headers, six dribbles and six tackles.

HITC Sport reported on Friday that Leeds are considering sending Botaka out on loan before the close of the January transfer window, although the youngster has already played for two clubs this season.
