Derby duo react on Twitter after defeat to Manchester United

Derby County suffered a 3-1 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup on Friday evening.

Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at making his 200th appearance on Friday evening.

Hendrick featured in the FA Cup fourth-round tie between Derby and Manchester United at the iPro Stadium.

The Republic of Ireland international came on as a substitute in the 76th minute, as the Rams suffered a 3-1 defeat to United. It was Hendrick’s 200th appearance for Derby, and he is proud of the achievement.

Meanwhile, Derby defender Stephen Warnock has suggested on Twitter that the players should move on and focus on the Championship game against Preston North End at the iPro Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the iPro Stadium on Friday eveing, hosts Derby had 40% of the possession, took seven shots of which three were on target, and earned six corners.

Visitors United had 60% of the possession, took 13 shots of which five were on target, and earned five corners.
