HITC Sport understands the Southampton striker will stay at the club despite interest.
Southampton striker Sam Gallagher is unlikely to leave the club on loan before the close of the transfer window despite interest from a number of clubs, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Gallagher was recalled early from his loan spell at MK Dons earlier this month after joining the Championship club on a season-long loan deal last summer.
The 20-year-old made 15 appearances for MK Dons, failing to score in those games and Southampton opted to recall him early as he was not playing regularly for Karl Robinson's side at Stadium MK.
A number of Championship and League One clubs are understood to have made enquiries to sign Gallagher on loan since his return to Southampton.
However, the England Under-19 international is set to stay at Southampton when the transfer window closes next week before considering another loan move in February when the emergency loan window reopens as he is currently well down the pecking order in Ronald Koeman's plans.
The 6ft 4in forward is highly-rated at St. Mary’s having made 20 appearances and scored two goals for Southampton since breaking into the first team in the 2013/14 season.
