The Portuguese winger has been linked with a return to his former club.
In November Charlton Athletic completed a deal to bring Ricardo Vaz Te back to English football. The former West Ham United forward looked like a good signing and he arrived on a deal until the end of the season.
That came after he had spent six months in Turkey with Akhisar Belediyespor. He left the Turkish club last summer and spent time as a free agent before finally agreeing a move to Charlton.
Now, just over two months since he joined up with Charlton, it is being reported he could be on his way back.
Reports in Turkey are suggesting that Akhisar are looking to bring Vaz Te back to the club from Charlton this month. The report, from Son Dakika in Turkey suggests that the deal has the green light from Akhisar's technical director Cihat Arslan and it could genuinely be a deal that happens.
Vaz Te scored five goals in 14 appearances for the Turkish side last season after leaving West Ham. Since joining Charlton he has played 12 times but has failed to hit the back of the net for the Championship strugglers.
