Photos: Mohamed Elneny trains with the Arsenal first team; will he make his debut?

Arsene Wenger Press Conference Smiling - 16/02/2014

The 23-year-old was brought to the Gunners this January.

Mohamed Elneny was a lively presence in Arsenal first-team training on Friday afternoon.

The north London side face Burnley in the FA Cup this weekend, looking to progress to the next round in their bid to win three FA Cup trophies in a row.

Danny Welbeck was a welcome sight, with the 25-year-old forward back in first-team training.

And Egyptian Elneny is also someone Arsenal fans will be very interested in.

Arsenal signed Elneny for a £5 million fee, according to BBC Sport, but the 23-year-old is yet to make his debut for the Gunners.

However, boss Arsene Wenger has told reporters this weekend could very well be Elneny's chance, as stated by ESPN.

So will Arsenal's new signing make an appearance against the Championship side? Wenger may play a slightly weakened team against the Clarets but he certainly won't be taking them lightly.

Indeed, Burnley are on a very good run of form right now and the Gunners shouldn't get complacent. Here's a selection of Elneny's training photos from London Colney:
