HITC Sport understands Leeds winger could leave on loan.
Leeds United are considering sending winger Jordan Botaka out on loan before the close of the transfer window, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Botaka joined Leeds from Dutch top-flight club Excelsior on transfer deadline day last summer, but he has struggled to make an impact at Elland Road.
The skilful winger has shown glimpses of his potential at Leeds, but he has yet to score or lay on an assist in the Championship.
The 22-year-old has made nine appearances for Leeds so far this season, but has not featured since the draw with Charlton in December.
The DR Congo international has not even made the Leeds squad in the last nine matches and he is well down the pecking order in Steve Evans' plans.
Leeds are thought to be happy to loan out Botaka feeling he would be best served to join a club on a tempoarary basis to get some regular first-team action under his belt and get used to the rigours of English football.
A number of Championship and League One clubs are thought to be monitoring Botaka's situation as they weigh up a move for the player.
