Scott Golbourne left Wolverhampton Wanderers to join Bristol City earlier today.

A whole host of Wolverhampton Wanderers players have sent messages to Scott Golbourne on Twitter after the defender completed a move to Bristol City earlier today.

Golbourne has signed a two-and-a-half year contract at Ashton Gate, after Wolves and Bristol City agreed a £300,000 fee for the 27-year-old, according to the Bristol Post.

Golbourne was a popular member of the squad at Molineux, and a number of their first team squad were quick to tweet him.

Here is a selection of the best messages that Wolves' players left Golbourne.

Golbourne leaves Wolves having recently fallen out of favour, due to the form of Matt Doherty.

Doherty has been impressive since being switched to left-back, and Kenny Jackett was happy to allow Golbourne leave, as a result.

Golbourne becomes Bristol City’s second addition in as many days, following the arrival of Lee Tomlin on loan from Bournemouth yesterday.
