Toumani Diagouraga only moved to Leeds United from Brentford last week.
Toumani Diagouraga has told the Yorkshire Evening Post that he believes Leeds United have a ‘quality’ squad.
Diagouraga only joined Leeds from Brentford last week, but he has been impressed by his new teammates.
The central midfielder believes that Steve Evans has a talented squad at his disposal at Elland Road, and he is hoping to help the Yorkshire side start climbing the table.
“There was a lot of quality," Diagouraga said. "All around the pitch there was a lot of quality. It’s a quality squad. I’m sure it can push on.”
Diagouraga made his debut for Leeds in their 1-1 draw against his old side, Brentford, in midweek.
The 28-year-old made a good impression after coming off the bench in the second half to help his side rescue a point.
Diagouraga has become Leeds’ third signing of the January transfer window.
The Whites have already brought in Liam Bridcutt and Mustapha Carayol on loan, but owner Massimo Cellino has told Sky Sports that they have concluded all their business in January now.
