Here is how we predict Aston Villa will line up for their match against Manchester City this weekend:
Aston Villa welcome Manchester City to Villa Park for their FA Cup fourth round clash, and while in some ways this is a match the hosts do not need they could use it to build some confidence for their ongoing relegation scrap.
Remi Garde’s side are currently bottom of the Premier League table, 10 points from safety with 15 matches remaining, and while they made hard work of their third round tie with Wycombe Wanderers they are unlikely to need any additional motivation to go all out against City.
Garde faces a tricky dilemma as he will not want to risk injuries for the more important battles to come, but it would be sensible to play his strongest available side in a bid to cause a shock and to maintain the momentum that has recently been building at the club.
In early team news, Villa must do without Jordan Amavi, Alan Hutton and Adama Traore while they have minor doubts regarding Carlos Sanchez, Gabby Agbonlahor and Rudy Gestede.
That said, all three are rated at 75 per cent to be available if called upon.
