Photos: Sam Byram continues to make an impression in West Ham training

The 22-year-old has been in West Ham training ahead of this weekend's FA Cup clash with Liverpool.

Sam Byram continues to make an impression at West Ham United following his debut for the east London club against Manchester City last week.

The Hammers signed Byram for £3.7 million earlier this month, according to the Daily Mail, and were forced to give him his debut on Saturday evening when Carl Jenkinson came off injured.

But the former Championship prospect showed no hesitation as he put in a solid display against City. The only noticeable struggles came when he pulled up with cramp in the dying embers of West Ham's 2-2 draw.

With Jenkinson now out for an extended period, it may once again fall upon the 22-year-old to fill West Ham's void at right-back. Indeed, Byram could be getting regular first-team football at Upton Park a lot sooner than was anticipated.

The Hammers play Liverpool in the FA Cup this weekend, hoping to make it three victories out of three against the Reds this season. Ahead of the clash, Byram was heavily involved during West Ham training...
